Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront
An Evening with The Strokes as they continue their Reality Awaits North America tour stopping in Richmond, VA at the Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront on Sunday, July 12th 2026. The famous New York City band known for hits such as “Last Nite”, “Reptilia”, and “Someday” will be performing old favorites as well as songs from their Grammy-nominated album The New Abnormal. Support will come from the former Walkmen frontman, Hamilton Leithauser, who has been releasing highly-acclaimed independent work in recent years.

The Strokes Reality Awaits North America Tour Comes to Richmond on July 12th, 2026 at Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront. The doors for this epic night will open up about 60 to 90 minutes prior to the bands taking the stage at 7:00pm.
The Strokes are a New York City-based rock band from Manhattan’s Lower East Side formed in 1998. They were a major part of the garage rock revival and early 2000s rock scene. The band has played songs like “Someday”, “Reptilia”, and many more throughout their many concerts and tours. The band is currently touring the world in support of their album, The New Abnormal, which the band received critical acclaim for and have shown fans their musical growth. The album features songs “The Adults Are Talking” and “Bad Decisions” and the band has been nominated for several Grammy Awards and are known as one of the most influential rock bands today.
Solo artist and ex-Walkmen, Hamilton Leithauser, the NYC native’s work has created a loyal fan base and the songs “A 1000 Times”, “In a Black Out”, and many more have been getting great reviews. His more refined style of music is sure to get fans ready for the high energy, indie rock that The Strokes bring to the table.
The Allianz Amphitheater at Riverfront is located at 350 Tredegar Street, in the heart of downtown Richmond, VA on the banks of the James River. A state of the art outdoor amphitheater it can hold up to 6,000 to 7,000 for a concert. The seating options are Pavilion Seats which are assigned seating closest to the stage and General Admission Areas which are standing room only but you can bring your own blankets or chairs to be on the lawn and enjoy. They have a variety of local fare as well as the typical fare that you would usually find at an arena such as bars, etc. in addition to fresh fruit, ice, water and beer and a full bar to enjoy as well.
